Dear Customer,

To better protect your rights and interests, Alibaba Cloud will begin gradually extending the unused refund window period for resource package products starting at 10:00 AM Beijing Time on January 1, 2026.

Changes

After purchasing a resource package, if you have never used it (i.e., no deductions have occurred), you may apply for a full refund within a specified time window. Previously, the policy allowed full refunds within 5 days of purchase; this was improved on August 19, 2025, to allow full refunds within 30 days. This update represents a further enhancement — starting January 1, 2026, for resource packages that support self-service refunds, a full refund is available as long as the package remains unused throughout its validity period.

Description

The upgrade will affect the refund amount calculation when customers cancel resource packages.

Additional Notes

If you initiate a refund after 10:00 AM on January 1, 2026, and find that the refund amount does not match the above calculation logic, it may be because your account has not yet been included in the gray-scale upgrade. If needed, you may contact customer service and request to be included in the gray-scale group.
