Change Details

To enhance billing user experience, Alibaba Cloud will simplify the calculation methodology for Capacity Unit (CU) charges of the NAT Gateway service.

Impact Statement:

Removal of Connection-Based Metrics: Effective 00:00 on September 26, 2025, concurrent connections and new connection rates will no longer be factored into CU calculations.

After this change, the number of CUs per hour will be determined solely by the processed traffic during that hour, calculated as:

CU Count per Hour= Total Traffic Processed per Hour (in GB) / 1 GB.
