Alibaba Cloud plans to phase out the ApsaraDB for Redis version 2.8. If you are currently using this product, please pay special attention to the following details.

Affected Product: ApsaraDB for Redis version 2.8
Service Termination Schedule:
● End-of-Full-Support (EOFS) Date: February 4, 2025, Singapore Time (GMT+8)
● End-of-Service (EOS) Date: August 4, 2025, Singapore Time (GMT+8)

Impact:
● As of the EOFS date, subscription instances of the affected product will no longer support renewal, nor will they receive new feature iterations.
● As of the EOS date, we will cease to provide all services and support for existing instances of the affected product, including but not limited to instance access, documentation, hotfix/patches/bug fixes, and after-sales services.
● Existing pay-as-you-go instances of the affected product can continue to be used normally until the EoL is reached (i.e., the EOS date).

Warm Reminder:
● If you are using the aforementioned version, we recommend upgrading to Redis version 5.0 or above as soon as possible. Here’s how:
