Notice of Change in Tax Rule in Malaysia

Dear Sir / Madam,
Pursuant to Service Tax (Digital Services) Regulations 2019 of Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Alibaba Cloud will be required to charge Malaysian Service Tax (“Malaysian ST”) at the rate of 6% on certain electronic services provided to customers located in Malaysia. All Malaysian ST collected will be remitted to the relevant Malaysian tax authority.
