VPC peering connections support IPv6, addressing the limitations of IPv4 private addresses.

Content

Key improvement: VPC peering connections now support IPv6, enabling scalable network architectures as your business grows. Previously, VPC peering only supported IPv4 addresses. This became a bottleneck as businesses scaled. With this upgrade, users can enable IPv6 for their VPCs and create peering connections using IPv6 addresses, ensuring efficient cross-VPC access. Both intra-region and inter-region VPC networks can now communicate over IPv6.
