Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

VPC flow logs now support scenario-based collection, allowing users to define custom logging paths as needed. This feature effectively balances the requirements for security auditing with cost control.

Content

Enhancement: VPC flow logs support scenario-based collection, enabling users to define custom logging paths and capture target traffic. Supported logging paths now encompass traffic routed through IPv4 gateways to Internet, NAT gateways, and VPN gateways. This approach mitigates log redundancy inherent in full packet capture. Previously, only full packet collection was supported, which could generate redundant logs and inflate cost. This new feature balances security auditing with cost optimization.
