Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

VPC now supports publishing custom route entries to an Express Connect Router (ECR), reducing the complexity of route configuration for hybrid clouds.

Content

Enhancement: VPC now supports publishing custom route entries to an Express Connect Router (ECR). Previously, connecting a VPC with an ECR required the manual configuration of static routes to define the traffic path. This created configuration complexity and scalability issues, as the ECR relies on the dynamic BGP for route propagation. With this new feature, users can now associate a VPC with an ECR and selectively publish specific custom route entries from the VPC to the ECR, achieving dynamic route propagation. The solution establishes automated route propagation between a data center and a VPC, meeting the demand for flexible network access in hybrid clouds.
