Intended customers: all customers. Feature description: NLB supports port and custom UDP health checks. Port health checks: NLB sends ICMP requests and UDP probes to a backend server. If within the timeout period, the backend server returns ICMP responses without the Port XX Unreachable error message, the backend server is considered healthy. If the backend server doesn't return ICMP responses or returns Port XX Unreachable error message, the backend server is considered unhealthy. Custom health checks: NLB sends UDP probes with user-defined characters to a backend server. If expected messages are received within the timeout period, the backend server is considered healthy. If no expected messages are received within the timeout period, the backend server is considered unhealthy.
