Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

VPC route tables now support configuring of an Express Connect Router (ECR) as the next hop for custom route entries, fulfilling the networking requirements for connecting data centers with VPCs.

Enhancement: VPC route tables now support configuring an ECR as the next hop for custom route entries. This enables users to establish network connectivity between data centers and VPCs through the ECR, fulfilling the requirements for global hybrid cloud networking. Compared to the previous networking model that relied on VBRs, this feature is designed for scenarios requiring lower latency, private access, and higher bandwidth connections. Users can associate a VPC with an ECR and configure a custom route in the VPC's route table to the ECR. This routes traffic to the ECR, achieving highly efficient communication
