Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

The VPC prefix list allows you to configure IPv6 CIDR blocks. This simplifies the configuration and management of IPv6 addresses in the route table.

Content

VPC prefix lists now support IPv6 CIDRs. You can use prefix lists to group multiple CIDR blocks, bulk-associate them with route tables, and reuse them across multiple routing policies. This significantly simplifies route table configuration. Previously, prefix lists only supported IPv4. With this update, you can now group, manage, and dynamically update IPv6 CIDR blocks. This allows for bulk configuration and reuse across multiple route tables.
