Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

Inter-region VPC peering connections support two types of link types, platinum and gold, to provide data transfer services of different quality.

Content

Enhancement: VPC inter-region peering connection supports two link types: platinum and gold to meet the requirements of different traffic transmission quality. Previously, all inter-region VPC peering connections defaulted to Gold. The newly added Platinum link type offers a service availability commitment of 99.995%, making it the ideal choice for demanding workloads, such as financial trading, real-time voice and video collaboration, and online gaming, where every millisecond counts.
