The hybrid read mode combines the benefits of the default mode (reading data from the disk) and direct read mode. If the size of the requested file is not large, the file is downloaded to the local disk. Small files take full advantage of page cache acceleration. If the size of the requested file is large, the file is first read from the page cache and then the direct read mode is used when a specific threshold is reached. This prevents read performance bottlenecks of ossfs caused by the disk performance.
