Resource Access Management (RAM) - New Feature of CloudSSO Supports RAM User Provisioning for Resource Directory Accounts

CloudSSO releases the Resource Access Management (RAM) user provisioning feature, which supports creating a RAM user provisioning for a resource directory account to create a RAM user. This way, the CloudSSO user can access the resource directory account as the RAM user.

Target customers: If you have services that cannot be accessed by using Security Token Service (STS), such as specific big data services and Apsara DevOps, you can synchronize CloudSSO users to accounts within a resource directory to access these services. Released feature: 1. Target customers: CloudSSO users can log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console by using the single sign-on (SSO) logon method and a RAM role within an account in a resource directory. Some Alibaba Cloud services and specific features of these services do not support access by using STS. Therefore, CloudSSO users cannot use these services. To address this issue, the RAM user provisioning and logon capabilities are provided. Your CloudSSO users can access these Alibaba Cloud services as RAM users. 2. Description (1) A RAM user provisioning can be created for an account in your resource directory to create a RAM user. 2) The CloudSSO user can log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console as a RAM user within the resource directory account.
