Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

Network ACL rules now support configuring IPv6 address to implement IPv6 traffic control.

Content

Enhancement: Network ACL rules have been updated to support the configuration of IPv6 addresses, enabling access control for IPv6 traffic. Previously, ECS IPv6 communication relied solely on security groups for access control. This required network administrators to configure rules redundantly across multiple resource levels, leading to high operational and management complexity. Now, users can flexibly configure inbound and outbound access rules for IPv6 addresses at the vSwitch level through network ACLs. This includes actions such as denying traffic from specific IPv6 source IP or restricting access to specific IPv6 destination IP, thereby meeting security and compliance requirements.
