Enhancement: VPC supports modifying the next hop of custom route entries. This enhancement allows users to instantly modify routing paths for traffic scheduling needs, such as firewall redirection in security scenarios, or for instance failover in high-availability architectures. This eliminates the need to recreate routing entries. Previously, path modification was achieved by deleting and reconfiguring routes, a process that was not only cumbersome but also resulted in minute-long traffic disruptions. With the new feature, users can now update the next hop through the console or API, slashing interruption time to seconds and significantly reducing the risk of business downtime.
