Product overview: Gateway Load Balancer (GWLB) is a Layer 3 load balancing service that listens for all IP packets across all ports and forwards traffic to the Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs) in the server group that's specified in the listener rule. GWLB is ideal for deploying high availability NVAs, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, traffic mirroring, and deep packet inspections. Intended customers: customers who use third-party NVAs. For example, financial companies or multinational enterprises. Feature description: Core features include IPv4 listening, 2-tuple, 3-tuple, and 5-tuple hashing algorithms, health checks, and ECS, ENI, ECI, and custom IP addresses as backend servers. Billing method: pay-as-you-go.
