Global Accelerator (GA)

Basic GA instances provide point-to-point acceleration at Layer 3 and can be used in scenarios such as game acceleration and custom protocol acceleration.

Content

Target customers: customers who need to accelerate services at Layer 3 in the following scenarios: game acceleration, custom protocol acceleration, and cross-region access to cloud services. New features/specifications: Basic GA instances provide point-to-point acceleration services by using the network bandwidth and high quality transmission network of Alibaba Cloud. Basic GA instances allow you to configure multiple accelerated IP addresses for each acceleration area, support BGP (Multi-ISP) and BGP (Multi-ISP) Pro lines, and support Alibaba Cloud endpoints of the ECS, ENI, CLB, and NLB types. Basic GA instances allow the origin server to access the Internet, provide Layer 3 acceleration, and ensure that the origin server can obtain information such as the source IP address of the client. Basic GA instances are suitable for point-to-point acceleration scenarios.
