HLS transcoding is supported for live streams, and you can set the HLS latency. This facilitates the playback of live streams on the web.

Content

Intended for: customers with viewing requirements on the web. New feature: HLS transcoding is supported for live streams. You can choose delayed transcoding or real-time transcoding. Delayed transcoding: Transcoding is performed for a stream only when at least a user is watching the stream. This helps reduce transcoding costs. Real-time transcoding: Transcoding is performed immediately from the beginning of stream ingest. It is fast and has low latency.
