Server Load Balancer (SLB)

ALB instances no longer differentiate between IP modes. Through virtual IP address auto scaling, each ALB instance supports up to 1 million queries per second.

Feature description: ALB instances no longer differentiate between IP modes. Through virtual IP address auto scaling, each ALB instance supports up to 1 million queries per second. ALB instances also provide the following additional features: Server groups of IP address type support enabling IPv6. Both IPv6 and IPv4 backend servers can be added to these server groups. QUIC listeners can use the X-Forwarded-For header to preserve the client IP address in requests. Both security groups can access control lists are supported to control traffic to and from ALB instances. Within the same VPC, users can add other ALB instances as backend servers to server groups of IP address type.
