Selina Yuan is Alibaba Group VP & International President of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence, a leading cloud platform in Asia and top three worldwide. She leads the international division of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Business Unit, heading a global team across APAC, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East and enabling cloud technology for millions of customers worldwide. Selina brings more than 20 years of experience leading and growing technology businesses globally.

Beng Chin Ooi is the Lee Kong Chian Centennial Professor and an NGS faculty member at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is a former Dean of the School of Computing (2007-2013). He is an adjunct Chang Jiang Professor at Zhejiang University and a visiting Distinguished Professor at Tsinghua University. Beng is the Lead PI of the Singapore Blockchain Innovation Programme (SBIP).

Feifei Li is the President of Database Products Business at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence and the Director of the Database and Storage Lab at DAMO Academy, ACM, CCF, and IEEE fellow. He led the team that developed Alibaba Cloud's PolarDB (an enterprise-level cloud-native database), AnalyticDB (a cloud-native data warehouse), Lindorm (a cloud-native multimodal database), and RDS (a cloud database), all of which have continuously held the Cloud Database Leader Quadrant for three years in a row (according to Gartner's global cloud database market).

Xinjun (Jimmy) Yang is the Director of PolarDB, Database Products Business Unit, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. He is in charge of the development of PolarDB, a flagship OLTP database product from the Database Team. Before joining the Alibaba Group, Xinjun worked as an InnoDB Architect at Oracle and a Group Manager at Sybase.

Fory Zhou is a Director at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence for the DBaaS department, which is on a mission to build state-of-the-art infrastructures and a database control plane to provide databases as a cloud service. Prior to Alibaba Cloud Intelligence, Fory was a Tech Lead at Google for cluster management and cloud products. He is passionate about databases, distributed systems, and engineering, shipping widely adopted cloud products during his career in technology.

Liang spent over a decade working at Google and has extensive experience with large-scale SQL engines and storage engines. Currently, Liang is heading the AnalyticDB Team, the cloud-native data warehouse at Alibaba Cloud.

Dr. Zhang Wei is the Director of NoSQL, Database Products Business Unit, Alibaba Cloud Intelligent. He is responsible for Redis, MongoDB, HBase, Tair, Lindorm, and others. Dr. Zhang Wei graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Ph.D. in Computer Science. He has over 20 years of experience in operating systems, databases, and AI, holding product development and management positions in systems software at companies (such as Apple, Pure Storage, and Meta). Dr. Zhang is an expert in the database field. He has published papers at several top international conferences and holds many US patents.

Wenchao Zhou
Director of Data Products, Database Products Business Unit, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence
Wenchao Zhou is the Director of Data Products at the Database Business Unit of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. Prior to joining Alibaba Cloud Intelligence, he was a tenured Professor at the Computer Science Department of Georgetown University. Wenchao is an expert and a veteran in Databases and Distributed Systems, with over ten years of academic and industrial experience. He has published over 60 papers at leading conferences (including SIGMOD, VLDB, SOSP, OSDI, and SIGCOMM). He has received multiple prestigious awards, including the NSF CAREER award, the SIGMOD Jim Gray Dissertation award, and two best paper awards. Wenchao received his Bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University and his Master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, all in Computer Science.

Alan Chhabra is responsible for Worldwide Partners and Asia at MongoDB. Before joining MongoDB in 2015, Alan was responsible for WW Cloud & Data Center Automation Sales at BMC Software, where he managed $200M annual revenue business unit that touched over 1000 customers. Alan has also held senior sales, services, engineering & IT positions at Egenera (a cloud pioneer), Ernst & Young consulting, and the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory. Alan is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering and his Masters in aerospace engineering.
