Challenges
First Show has expanded its payment business to Indonesia for the first time. The regulatory requirements in Indonesia's local payments industry are stringent. For instance, Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Association of Payment Systems (ASPI) mandate that all payment systems utilizing QR code transactions must be implemented through QRIS. Each merchant must acquire a QRIS QR code for all their payment transactions. This necessitates the swift redevelopment of the core payment processes, as some mature 2C (to consumer) business scenarios cannot be directly replicated for online use in Indonesia.
To meet the specific requirements of the payment industry, First Show was looking to partner with a well-established cloud computing provider in Southeast Asia. The provider should offer reliable, stable, secure, and high-performance IaaS and PaaS products. The goal is to minimize the cycle and costs of system development, operation, and maintenance, especially PaaS products, such as IoT related platform products and internet middleware and ready-to-use security products.

Architecture
The customer uses IoT Platform to manage Qbox devices (boxes) in Indonesia, which supports fast onboarding of multi-protocol, multi-platform, and multi-network Qbox boxes. The cloud platform and devices can communicate over stable and secure connections. After the user sends the QR code to make a payment, the information instantly is sent back to Qbox for broadcasting. Additionally, merchants can manage Qbox boxes on their app clients.
The use of SMS channel products helps QBiz's local business users in Indonesia receive OTP SMS messages from the platform in a stable and timely manner.
Using Indonesia's regional security products can protect the platform's interface from malicious attacks. Using managed database (such as RDS, Redis, and Data Management(DMS)) and middleware products helped to quickly build a resilient, high-performance, and stable post-payment link system, allowing QBiz to focus on business and accelerate business expansion.
Looking Forward
In the future, First Show will expand its offerings to include more payment and merchant digital management services, such as ordering, agent, merchant operation, and member-related systems. It will continuously iterate and evolve its system architecture, leveraging digital technologies such as cloud-native technology, big data, and AI to build a new generation of highly elastic and intelligent systems that support diverse businesses.
As an Alibaba Cloud partner and a payment solutions provider, First Show will collaborate with Alibaba Cloud to deliver innovative and high-quality mobile payment solutions tailored to the needs of customers in Southeast Asia.
